Donnie founded the company
with the help of long time business partner and friend Nancy Malone.

Nancy has been with Quality Pets, Inc. since the beginning in February of 1986. I've been with QPI from day 1. Having worked in almost every position in the company, I have a fair idea of how this operation runs. I've been in sales for the last few years and now proudly manage the inside sales force. I'm usually heavily involved in any extra projects (i.e. trade shows, open houses, etc.) In my private life (such as it is), I'm an avid hockey fan and attend every home game of the OKC Blazers. .

 Gene Nichols - Outside Sales Manager since April 1986.     

I've been employed by Quality Pets Inc. since 3 months after they became a company. One of my responsibilities is getting the merchandise to the customer, supervising approx. 20 delivery drivers.  I'm also  a liaison with the customers and develop new business. plus anything else Donnie wants me to do.   My hobbies are fishing and golf.   

  Jesse & Summer Kuykendall - 

Jesse - Dry goods Buyer with Quality Pets, Inc. since Aug 1991.

I'm the dry goods buyer and also a member of the Board of Directors at Quality Pets. I have been with the company for 15 years and started out here as a driver and have worked my way up from there. Attn Manufacturers:     As far a new items or new manufacturers go, I like samples to take into our weekly sales meetings for decisions on picking up new items. Summer and I are responsible for putting together the monthly fliers that include all of our specials for that month, new items, discontinued items, etc.  My interests include Ultimate Fighting  computers, fishing, and trying to drive my family crazy.   

 Summer - Saltwater Buyer

 I've been with Quality Pets since September of 2000. I work in  the Hatchery office and am the new Buyer of Saltwater Fish! Some of my responsibilities include keeping track of our live fish inventory as well as ordering our aquarium plants, pond plants and frozen food lines.  Some of my interests include spending time with my family I have two girls and one boy, and a wonderful step-daughter. I love the summer months and enjoy every free minute I have to be outside!.  If you have questions or need information, please feel free to contact me, I'll be more than happy to help! 

      Betty Nayphe - Hatchery Manager/Buyer since Nov 1996.   

I've been with Quality Pets for 10 years - how time fly's when you enjoy what you're doing. I love my job and the people I work with. I order the fish for the hatchery, doing my best to keep fish in stock and healthy. I also manage the hatchery and the day & night crews. I've been in the pet business since 1975 and have been a manager/buyer for 24 years. I have a son and daughter and two grandsons. I love being a grandmother. I enjoy different types of music, mostly country/western and dancing.     

 Shawn McCarty - Sales Person & Outside Sales Manager

I worked for Quality pets for many year. Doing everything from driving routes to inside sales , web master, corporate representative and now Outside sales Manager, if it can be done I can do it. my hobbies are  music , golf , fishing and road biking , heck if it can be done... i will do it.. my motto is simply ( live life )

Rick Malone - Inside Sales since Nov 1994.

I'm married and have a 10 year old son with a daughter on the way  My hobby is hockey (and anything to do with it) UFC, and OU FOOTBALL .  GO SOONER !!! 2009 Bedlam winner  27 to 0 ! BOOMER SOONER !!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

Wal-Mart Sales

I have been with Quality Pets since 1997, but in the pet industry since 1984. I handle all of our Walmart accounts taking orders and assisting the stores with any questions or problems they may have.  I thoroughly enjoy what I do and wouldn't trade it.  I am married to my wonderful husband Jeff and I have three boys.  I enjoy cooking out on the weekends, taking rides on the motorcycle and just spending time with my family and friends.

Cherri Swoyer - Bird and Animal Department Manager.

I have been with Quality Pets since June of 2004. I love my job and Quality is like my second home. I'm your typical animal lover and have taken care of and had birds in my home for many years. Some of my interests include spending time with my family, I have two children and a great husband who is in the medical field. I also am active in girl scouts and enjoy it very much.       Lisa Wilson - Accounts payable since June 1990.        

 I was 24 when I started at Quality. It's 12 years later and things have changed, but I still love my job. I've got 2 beautiful baby girls now and only work part time. Hobbies & Pastimes : Spending weekends at Cedar Lake, going to the river and playing with the dune buggy, swimming, and the big barbeque that night. Life is good.

My name is Debbie (AkA. Wonder Woman) and I have been working at Quality Pets since 1991 . It has been a great learning experience. Have met a lot of good people and made some great friends. I now work in the office and assist in whatever comes my way including relief sales person and Petco billing clerk. I also help in making sure that we have vehicles to make deliveries and assist the drivers when they break down.

      Paula Decker - Receptionist. She has been with Quality Pets, Inc. since April of 1996. 

Mark Wilson - Manager of Operations

 Hi, I have been with Quality Pets since 1993.  I have worked my way through the ranks via driver, hatchery and dry goods to become operations manager and a member of the board of directors.  My life here consists of operations and a number of other things that come up throughout the day.  At night I go home to my beautiful wife, which also works at Quality and two gorgeous little girls.  You can see them further up in this page.  Hobbies-my 1982 CJ-7 Jeep and my new to me 1975 W-30 Hurst/Olds Rocket Oldsmobile.  Interact with me via !!!!!!!
